Ecotourism is welcomed in Ikh Nart! The reserve offers visitors the opportunity to see rare Argali Sheep from relatively close distances, encounter other wildlife ranging from foxes to gazelle, and view a large diversity of migrating birds that stop over in Ikh Nart during spring and autumn months. Several archeological sites with rock art, burial sites, and destroyed buddhist monasteries also exist in the reserve.
Nomadic Journeys tour company operates a eco-tourist ger camp in the reserve and offers a variety of wildlife related activities in the area. A small ger camp called Khalzan on the northwest edge of the reserve also offers some accommodation during summer.
